Iain Cant is working for the Virtual Enineering Centre | VEC at the University of Liverpool. He has a creative and industrial design background with extensive knowledge and experience in the development of Virtual Reality modelling and haptic 3D modelling. Iain supports our clients understanding of their designs and new concepts, achieving the best results from new digital technologies. Key projects that Ian has been recently been involved include, supporting Bentley Motors in reducing time to market for new models and delivering new concepts for pre-operative planning at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

In collaboration with Prof. Richard Koeck and a team of researchers from the UK and China, he is contributing his expertise on behalf of the VEC to an AHRC UK-China Academic-Industry Partnership grant that is developing a next generation approach to an immersive, cinematic family experience.
